Calamity Brook and Flowed Lands

Elevation: 2760 ft
Ascent: 980 ft
Round-Trip Distance: 9.2 miles
Location: Upper Works trailhead north of Newcomb
A moderate hike along a historic stream. The trail begins along a gravel road to an open area that was used for logging. It soon arrives at a suspension bridge over Calamity Brook (right). The trail is beautiful, although it can be a little muddy in spots. The sights at flowed lands are awesome.
