Moose Pond--A Short Hike to a Lovely Pond

Elevation: 1549 ft

Ascent: minimal

Distance: 1.5 miles

Location: Off of Route 3 3.5 miles north of Route 86.

The trail, while a short one, was just like walking in your own back yard when you were little. Later, sitting on the rocky bluff we had a snack and enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the area. It was as if it was all ours. Sometimes less is better and this trail was just that.
