Trailless Peak Day Hikes

Check back in the spring for the 2012 schedule.

Uncomfortable approaching “trailless” high peaks on your own? These one-day courses will introduce you to the nuances of hiking off-trail through a guided trip to the summit(s). We’ll discuss safe low-impact travel, route selection, off trail navigation, and the rich natural history of the Adirondacks.

Location: All hikes originate at the Heart Lake Program Center, except Esther Mt. hikes, which begin in the field. 

Cost: $59/$65, includes instruction.
