Wilderness First-Aid w/ Wilderness Medical Associates

This intense two-day workshop with Wilderness Medical Associates will teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help and dialing 911 is not an option. Through hands-on scenarios and lecture structure, students will learn to assess patients, become certified in wilderness first aid, adult CPR, and anaphylaxis training. Class time will be spent both inside and out, rain, shine, or snow, (just like in real life!), so please be prepared for unpredictable Adirondack weather.

Location: Heart Lake Program Center
Cost: $225, includes instruction and materials
Package: $310, includes instruction, materials, meals, and lodging for two nights.
