Wilderness First Aid - 2008
These intense courses with Wilderness Medical Associates teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help. The classes offer hands-on scenarios and lecture structure, through which students will learn to assess patients and become certified in wilderness first aid, CPR, and anaphylaxis training. Class time will be spent both inside and out.
Wilderness First Aid
Mar. 29–30
Cost: $198 includes instruction and materials.

Advanced Wilderness First Aid

Cost: $349 includes instruction and materials.

Wilderness First-Aid w/ Wilderness Medical Associates
November 8-9, 2008
This intense two-day workshop will teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help and dialing 911 is not an option. Through hands-on scenarios and lecture structure, students will learn to assess patients, become certified in wilderness first aid, adult CPR, and anaphylaxis training. Class time will be spent both inside and out, rain, shine, or snow, (just like in real life!), so please be prepared for unpredictable Adirondack weather.
Cost: $215; includes instruction and materials
Package: $299; includes instruction, materials, meals, and lodging for 2 nights.
