The Hungry Hiker Manager position is a two-part position: From Mid-May–Mid-October, the Hungry Hiker Manager is responsible for running all aspects of the Hungry Hiker. This includes training and managing staff, operating and managing the POS system, inventory and ordering, handling cashouts, cleaning and other responsibilities as assigned.
From Mid-October–Mid-May, the Hungry Hiker Manager will work with the Kitchen Coordinator to provide meals for guests and staff and help the hospitality team with other duties as needed. This includes cooking and meal service, ordering and inventory, training and coordinating staff, housekeeping, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Location: Adirondak Loj & Heart Lake Program Center, Lake Placid, NY
Dates: Starting May 2025
Salary/Wage: $18.00/hr plus tips
