NEWHigh Peaks Information Center Staff

The High Peaks Information Center staff is responsible for creating a friendly and welcoming experience, providing accurate information on trail conditions and local regulations, and encouraging responsible recreation practices at the High Peaks Information Center. This role also handles retail operations, responds to information requests in person, by phone, and by email, and, at times, may be called on to communicate critical information to the rangers during search and rescue operations.

Location: Adirondak Loj & Heart Lake Program Center, Lake Placid, NY

Position Dates: Now - mid-October

Compensation: $14.25 hour; Paid sick time; Free ADK membership; Optional Leave No Trace Trainer workshop; Free ADK workshops; Discounts on store merchandise and rental equipment; On-site housing available.
