Slimy Spring Critters: All About Amphibians!
Join an ADK naturalist for an educational program on the toadally cool world of amphibians in this collaborative program between the Adirondack Mountain Club and Wilmington E.M. Cooper Library.
When: Saturday April 18, 12:00–1:30 p.m.
Where: Wilmington E.M. Cooper Library, 5751 NY 86 Scenic, Wilmington, New York
Program Description: We will learn what an amphibian is, all about their “Big Night” or “Great Migration” in the spring, fun facts about local species, and where to find them! Following the indoor educational talk, we will venture outside in search of amphibians in the park.
Please note that our success finding amphibians outside is not guaranteed, as they might not be active, and they are very good at hiding—but that’s part of the fun! Participants of all ages are welcome.
You can reserve your spot by emailing library@wilmingtoncooperlibrary.net or by leaving a message at 518-946-7701. This program has a maximum capacity of 15 participants.
