About the NPT Chapter
Founded in 2011, the Northville-Placid Trail Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is dedicated to the Northville-Placid Trail (NPT), ADK’s first trail project and one of the Adirondacks’ premier backcountry trails. The chapter works to protect, preserve, promote, and maintain the trail while helping hikers experience its scenic beauty, rich history, and sense of remoteness spiritual renewal throughout.
