The Loj can host up to 38 guests with a mix of private rooms and bunk rooms. Hot showers and meals optional.

Wilderness Campground: features campsites, lean-tos, and private cabins.
41 campsites, 16 lean-to’s, and 3 private cabins.

High Peaks Information Center: year-round visitor center, offering trail information, trip planning support, retail, and backcountry education for visitors.
Many of our staff are New York State Certified Guides, and all hold a wide range of certifications and qualifications that support safe, rewarding backcountry experiences.

Parking: Situated at the most visited trailhead in the Adirondacks.
Our hiker parking lots support up to 250 cars for day and multi-day parking.

Mount Jo: located on property, is popular hike featuring sweeping views of the high peaks.
Mt Jo offers 2 route options offering a unique round-trip experience should you explore both.

Hungry Hiker: ADK’s seasonal café at Heart Lake, serving food, drinks, and grab-and-go options for visitors.
