Ermine Elaina began her journey at ADK as a New York State–certified guide, leading seasonal hiking and overnight programs and helping participants build confidence and connection in the outdoors. Today, she serves as a full-time educator in ADK’s Education Department, where she supports a wide range of programs, including our Three Seasons at Heart Lake program, youth and school-based education initiatives, and outdoor learning experiences that inspire the next generation of stewards. With a passion for sharing the natural world with others, Elaina brings her guiding experience, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the outdoors to every program she leads.
