Keaveny fell in love with the Adirondacks while camping and working in the region, and gained a passion for introducing people to outdoor recreation and educating people about region’s environmental history. She graduated from Hampshire College with a focus in Environmental Studies, Politics, and Education, and aspires to connect people with the natural world that surrounds them. She has three seasons of experience leading backpacking trips and nature-based skills classes in the area.
