Molly Marcy has over a decade of high-level experience in New York state government, public policy, and political strategy.
She currently serves as a senior advisor at Brown & Weinraub, where she brings expertise in legislative affairs, strategic advisement and policy development. Prior to joining the firm, Marcy served as director of legislative affairs for Governor Andrew Cuomo, advising the administration on legislative strategy and serving as a primary liaison between the executive chamber and the New York State Legislature. She concurrently held the role of director of Cabinet Affairs, acting as the principal liaison to the governor’s cabinet and advancing a wide range of executive policy initiatives.
Before her work in the executive chamber, Marcy served as senior advisor to the Deputy Democratic Leader in the New York State Senate, where she represented in all major state budget and policy negotiations. She has also played key roles in federal, state, and local political campaigns.
Her leadership and career accomplishments have been recognized broadly. She has been profiled by the Albany Times Union for her family’s contributions to New York politics and was named one of City & State’s 40 Under 40 Albany Rising Stars and Who’s Who in Government Relations. She is a graduate of the SUNY Albany.
