The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) season-long ski lease program allows you to get a pair of skis for the entire season without committing to the purchase price of a brand new setup. Our equipment is in gently used condition, designed for classic cross-country skiing.
What’s Included?
Our ski lease package includes boots, poles, and classic cross-country skis. Boot sizes range from EU 26 (3 years old) to EU 46 (size 12.5 Men’s US). Packages are available while equipment lasts—register early to secure a size that fits you.
What Are Classic XC Skis Good For?
Classic cross-country skis do not have a metal edge, making them better for flat, gentle, and rolling hills and trails at groomed recreation centers. While not available for this season-long ski lease program, ADK offers daily rentals of metal-edged skis at our High Peaks Information Center.
How Much Does It Cost?
A ski lease for those aged 3–14 costs $70. Adult skis (15 and up) cost $150 for the season. ADK members receive a 10% discount on the cost of their purchase.
Where Do I Pick Up My Skis?
After placing your order, skis will be available for pickup during regular business hours at our High Peaks Information Center. A pick-up date can be selected upon payment.
