Trail Restoration Milestone in the High Peaks
This season, ADK volunteers and staff completed over 15 miles of trail restoration across the High Peaks region, improving access and protecting fragile ecosystems. The work focused on reducing erosion, rerouting damaged sections, and enhancing sustainability. These efforts ensure safer, more enjoyable hiking experiences while preserving the wilderness character of the Adirondacks.
